Global Emergency Relief Response – GLOBAL EMERGENCY FUND PINOY BEYOND BORDERS, is an initiative of SM Supermalls in partnership with World Vision Development Foundation is a campaign to appeal for relief donations for Tsunami Victims among mall goers in 41 SM malls nationwide.
Beginning March 24 until April 13, a booth will be deployed at all SM Malls to receive donations for the relief operations in Japan, following the Tsunami incident last March 11. Experts are labelling the geological disaster the strongest ever in recorded history to rock Japan and one of the largest quakes on earth in the past 100 years. Official death toll has reached 7,000.
WVDF has existing collaboration with World Vision International’s goal to help raise 10 Million USD for World Vision Japan’s relief operation. WVDF commits to contribute 100,000USD thru its various fundraising channels – web marketing, direct mail, corporate engagements and face to face.
The Global Emergency Fund Pinoy Beyond Borders campaign under face to face marketing will help reach the said goal.
