The Philippine Civil Service Commission is campaigning for R.A.C.E. and is pushing for a win.
R.A.C.E. stands for responsive, accessible, courteous and effective public service. It is the central idea in the celebration of 110 years of the country’s civil service. More than being the theme for this year’s anniversary celebration, R.A.C.E. represents the ideals in public service.
Last September 15, the Civil Service Commission Region XI formally opened the celebration through mounting the RACE Mall Event, bringing together key front-line government agencies offering varied services in a 3-day affair at SM City Davao.
Among the participating agencies are: Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Science and Technology, Business Bureau, Bureau of Internal Revenue, City Treasurer’s Office, Commission on higher Education, Davao City Water District, Department of Agriculture, Department of Budget and Management, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Trade and Industry, Home Development Mutual Fund, Maritime Industry Authority, National Statistics Office, Office of the City Civil Registrar, Office of the Ombudsman for Mindanao, Public Attorney’s Office and the Social Security System.
With the event, the public may avail of the participating agencies’ services in the convenience of the mall. The mall, being a usual destination of choice by Filipinos.
Civil Service Commission’s RACE mall event will be open to serve at SM City Davao Event Centre until Friday, September 17.
