The Event Centre was filled with energy as each entry performed their 10-minute routines. It was a competition of carefully executed arm and leg movements with jumps and stunts.
This year's SM Supermoves was bigger and better as it was made open not only to school-based participants but also to community-based groups.
School-based cheerdance teams were Halaw Hawig (UIC), Makabayan Dance Artist Ensemble (UM), Agro High School Cheering Squad, UP Mindanao Pep Squad, Sta. Ana National High School Pep Squad, Fitness Club (HCDC), and the Binhi Dance Troupe (RMC). On the other hand, community-based entries were Alta Dance Ensemble (Brgy. 37-D) and the Davao Hip Hop Team, who emerged as the competition's champion. (Click on text for videos)
