Classic Savory Chicken opens at SM Davao!

The Chinese-Filipino restaurant that flourished more than five decades ago in Manila is now in Davao!

Classic Savory Chicken’s humble beginnings date back in 1950s when the Ting Chinese brothers started a panciteria in Quiapo. Eventually, they developed a "special" recipe for fried chicken and gravy that became popular with the local Chinese community.

Savory Chicken then opened its first branch in Escolta serving Filipino and Chinese dishes. After more than 50 years, the third generation of the Ting family has re-launched the Classic Savory Chicken.

The restaurant also serves soups, seafoods, meat dishes, vegetables, noodles and desserts. Among its bestsellers are pancit canton, savory shanghai rolls, and lechon macau.
