SM Davao activates iButterfly on May 5!

iButterfly, an engaging and entertaining mobile information and couponing platform which tasks users to catch augmented reality butterflies was first introduced in the Philippines by SM’s Cyberzone last April 8. 

On May 5, the ‘Augmented Reality’-based technology will be activated at selected SM Malls nationwide- Mall of Asia, SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, SM Southmall, SM Fairview, SM City Cebu and SM City Davao. Shoppers with tablets and smartphones (using IOS and Android platforms) may then catch butterflies to win exciting prizes and discounts.

To join the iButterfly Hunt:

(1)   DOWNLOAD – Using your gadget, connect to the internet via data connection or Wi-Fi and go to the App store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android). Download and save the iButterfly application.

(2)   CATCH – While connected, open the iButterfly application and start catching augmented virtual butterflies.

(3)   REDEEM – Claim your free items by following the instructions as seen on the iButterfly and present it to participating SM stores.
