Celebrate Philippine Independence Day at SM City Davao with the Ballet Manila featuring Prima Ballerina Lisa Macuja on June 10, Sunday, 5:00 PM at The Annex.

Sayaw Pinoy will be a 45-minute showcase of Filipino and classical numbers which includes Sayao sa Pamlang (Sangayan-Pang-Alay-Singkil), Dalagang Pilipino, Arnis, Don Quixote, Palasyo, Sabihin Mo and the Dying Swan. The June 10 show is the second time that Macuja will be performing the 1905 original choreography (after CCP).

Karylle’s Roadtrip makes a pit stop at SM Davao 3 Day Sale

Kitchen Musical star singer-actress Karylle made a big leap as she independently produced her full-length album. "Roadtrip" features 11 tracks which were written by Karylle herself.

Roadtrip is said to reflect Karylle’s numerous musical inclinations and influences. The album contains songs that vary in style and sound, and, is perhaps the singer’s most daring album yet.

The album’s debut single, the upbeat "OMG," is a song the Filipino audience would not have expected from Karylle. Nevertheless, the song has had its share of positive feedbacks.

Myx Music Award 2012 Favorite New Artist Zia Quizon is set to perform at SM Davao The Annex on May 5.

Zia’s music, which fused pop, soul, jazz, and retro R&B, has been widely-accepted by the public yielding the hit song "Ako Na Lang." She recently launched her new single "Dear Lonely," lifted from her debut album "Zia." The album has just been awarded a Gold Record Award.

Owing most of her musicality to her Dad- Dolphy, Zia’s style sounds very unique from her veteran singer mother- Zsa Zsa Padilla and singer-actress Karylle. 

Her raspy voice used in jazzy arrangement is a fresh listening from the OPM pool. 

Apart from her original songs, her self-titled album also has unique versions of the classic Smile (Charlie Chaplin), So Much In Love (popularized in the Philippines by Sharon Cuneta) and her mom’s Mambobola.

Coleta has been endeared to the public through the popular iced tea brand TV commercial where he was well known as Nikos, the guy who is deeply falling inlove with Matina.

GPC-PAO Offers free legal consultation at SM

The Overseas Filipino Workers’ (OFWs) communication and information hub -- GLOBAL PINOY CENTER is now in partnership with the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).

This partnership allows OFWs , future OFWs and their families to avail of free legal consultation every Saturday for the whole month of October. GPC members and their families just need to go to the Global Pinoy Center located at the second level of SM City Davao between  10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Legal consultations included : recruitment, welfare and protection of Filipinos abroad, VISA assistance, citizenship and other topics concerning OFWs.

The first Global Pinoy Center was launched in the Mall of Asia December of 2009 while GPC SM City Davao opened its doors to its members February of this year. The center is SM’s salute to OFWs and their families through providing them a venue for convenient sending of remittances, livelihood and investment opportunities and other related services such as legal consultations.
