All roads lead to SM City Davao as the City's best cheering squads compete for their spot on the dance floor! Now on its second year, the SM City Davao Supermoves is expected to be bigger. Last September 14, 9 groups qualified for the SM Supermoves Grand Showdown set on September 21, Monday, 4 PM at the Event Centre.
Competing groups include the Makabayan Dance Artist Ensemble (University of Mindanao), Agro High School Cheering Squad, UP Mindanao Pep Squad, Alta Dance Ensemble (Brgy. 37-D), Sta. Ana National High School Pep Squad, Fitness Club (Holy Cross of Davao College), Halaw Hawig (University of the Immaculate Conception), Davao Hip Hop Dance Group, and the Binhi Dance Troupe (Rizal Memorial Colleges).
Each competing group will be composed of 20-30 participants with 8-10 minute action-packed routines. Entries will be judged according to: Costume and Bearing (20%), Choreography and Style (30%), Execution and Mastery (40%), and Audience Impact (10%).
Apart from the right of being called the SM Supermoves 2009 Champions, up for grabs are : P30,000.00 and P 15,00.00 worth of cash and gift cheques for the grand winner and first placer, respectively. All finalists will receive P 5,000.00 as a consolation prize.
On September 21, pick up those pom-poms and march your way to the SM Supermoves Grand Showdown at the Event Centre of the region's premier shopping, dining and leisure destination-- SM City Davao.
