Last November 20, SM Foundation Inc.’s annual Christmas mall outreach program—Share A Toy was launched across all 40 SM Supermalls nationwide. For each mall, a booth is set up to receive gifts—in cash or in kind for the benefit of children identified by DSWD as most in need.
The toys will bring cheers to the underprivileged children in government hospitals, children’s hospitals/centers and institutions accredited with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
This year, The SM Foundation will be sharing toys and Christmas joys to some 5000 less fortunate kids around the country.
SM Supermalls therefore invites all its shoppers and patrons to share their blessings and once again “Make A Child Happy this Christmas”. The campaign will run until January 2, 2011.
Generous parties may drop their donation of used/new toys at the Share A Toy booth located at the second floor of SM City Davao (between Ace Hardware and HBC).
The Share A Toy campaign culminates with a Make A Child Happy Day where kids will be treated on a fun afternoon filled with games and gift-giving.
The project is in cooperation with Toy Kingdom and DSWD. It is also supported by Nickelodeon, Children International and SM Storyland.
