For Davao City, DOLE XI posted more than 13,000 job vacancies both for local and overseas deployment. Last May 1, the SM Job Fair housed 99 companies and marked more than 2,000 registered job seekers. Online registration was made possible by STI Computer College and Bayantel DSL.

The celebration at the SM Davao Event Centre was capped by the graduation ceremonies of the EntrepreNURSE, a project by initiated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Board of Nursing-Professional Regulation Commission (BON-PRC), Department of Health (DOH), and Philippine Health Corporation (Philhealth), equipping the health care sector to run their own cooperative within localities. The project aims to introduce a new home health care industry in the country. The ceremonies was graced by the UP Manila College of Nursing Dean Josefina Tuazon.
This is year is SM Supermalls' 2nd nationwide May 1 Job Fair as it continuously addresses the government's heed for the private sector to provide avenues for gainful employment for the Filipino workforce.
