This year marks the 10th year of SHARE A TOY and MAKE A CHILD HAPPY projects of the SM Foundation Inc. Annually held every November and December, these outreach projects are organized in partnership with SM Supermalls, Toy Kingdom and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
SHARE A TOY is a venue for our mall goers, tenants and employees to donate new or used toys which will be distributed to children confined in government hospitals, those living in indigenous and underprivileged communities and in orphanages.
On the other hand, MAKE A CHILD HAPPY is an event treating children to fun-filled activities and gift-giving.
Both projects are aimed at bringing smiles to the less fortunate children in the communities where SM operates.
To date, 110,000 children have been treated to an afternoon of fun, games, carnival rides, gift-giving, food sharing and entertainment.
This Christmas, SHARE A TOY and MAKE A CHILD HAPPY. Drop your donations both in cash or in kind at the second floor of SM City Davao between Human and Speedo. Booth is open mall hours from December 17, 2009 to January 4, 2010.
